Privacy Policy & SMS Terms
How FiscalForge LLC collects, uses, shares, and protects your information, including our text messaging consent, opt-out, and mobile data sharing terms.
Effective July 27, 2026
1. Who this policy covers
This Privacy Policy applies to FiscalForge LLC (“FiscalForge,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a CPA-owned, Arizona-licensed accounting firm based in Scottsdale, Arizona. It covers information we collect through this website, through our booking form, and through the phone, email, and text message channels we use to communicate with prospective and current clients.
By using this site or contacting us, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or submit information through it.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us. When you request a consultation, we collect your name, email address, phone number, the service you selected, your requested date and time, and any notes you choose to add. If you call, email, or text us, we receive whatever information you include in that message. If you become a client, we also receive the tax, payroll, and financial records you provide so we can do the work you hired us to do.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider records standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, referring page, and timestamps. We use privacy-focused, aggregate analytics to understand page traffic and site performance. We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking pixels, or behavioral ad networks on this site.
What we do not collect here. This website is not a document portal. Please do not submit Social Security numbers, full account numbers, or tax documents through the booking form, by email, or by text. We will direct you to a secure method for exchanging sensitive records.
3. How we use your information
We use the information described above to:
- Respond to your questions and schedule, confirm, reschedule, or remind you about consultations.
- Deliver the services you engage us for, including tax preparation, tax representation, bookkeeping, and payroll.
- Request or return documents and follow up on items needed to complete your work.
- Send service-related updates such as filing deadlines, notice responses, and status changes.
- Meet our legal, regulatory, and professional obligations as a CPA firm and tax return preparer.
- Maintain the security of our systems and protect against fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access.
- Improve the clarity, accessibility, and performance of this website.
We do not use your information for third-party advertising, and we do not sell or rent it. See How we share information for the limited cases where information is disclosed.
4. Text messaging (SMS/MMS) terms
FiscalForge LLC may communicate with you by text message (SMS/MMS) about your consultation, your documents, and your engagement with our firm. This section explains how that program works, how to opt in and out, and how your mobile information is handled.
Mobile information sharing. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors who provide support services, such as our messaging platform or customer support tools, is permitted solely so that we can deliver the messages you asked for. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Consent and opt-in
You opt in to receive text messages from FiscalForge LLC when you provide your mobile number and agree to be contacted by text, for example by checking the text message consent box on our booking form, by giving us your number and permission in writing or verbally during a call, or by texting us first. The consent box is unchecked by default and you can book a consultation without checking it. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any product or service. You may decline text messages and still work with our firm by phone and email.
Types of messages you may receive
- Appointment scheduling, confirmations, reminders, and rescheduling notices.
- Requests for documents or information needed to complete your return, books, or payroll.
- Reminders about filing deadlines, payment due dates, and IRS or Arizona Department of Revenue correspondence.
- Direct replies to questions you send us.
- Occasional service updates related to your engagement with our firm.
Message frequency and cost
Message frequency varies and depends on your interaction with our firm. Messages are conversational and transactional rather than bulk marketing blasts. Message and data rates may apply. Check with your mobile carrier for details about your plan.
How to opt out
You can cancel text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message from us. After you send STOP, we will send one confirmation message and will not send further texts unless you opt in again. You may also opt out by calling us at 480-331-7805 or emailing contact@fiscalforge.net. Opting out of texts does not remove you as a client and does not stop necessary phone or email communication about your engagement.
How to get help
Reply HELP to any message for assistance, or contact us at 480-331-7805 or contact@fiscalforge.net.
Delivery and carrier notice
Message delivery depends on your mobile carrier and is not guaranteed. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Text messaging is not a secure channel: please do not send Social Security numbers, account numbers, passwords, or images of tax documents by text. If we need sensitive records, we will direct you to a secure method.
7. How we protect your information
We use secure cloud platforms and workflows designed to protect sensitive financial information, including encrypted connections to this website, access controls limited to personnel who need the information, and secure tools for collecting and storing client records.
No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure. Email and text message in particular are not secure channels, which is why we ask you to use the secure method we provide for sensitive documents.
8. How long we keep information
We keep inquiry and consultation information only as long as needed to respond to you and maintain a record of the engagement. Client records are retained for the periods required by tax law, professional standards, and our record-retention policy, then securely disposed of. Mobile opt-in and opt-out records are retained as long as needed to honor your messaging preferences and to document consent.
9. Your choices and rights
- Text messages. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or reply HELP for assistance.
- Email. Use the unsubscribe link in any non-essential email, or ask us to remove you. Transactional messages about an active engagement may continue.
- Phone. Tell us your preferred contact method and we will use it.
- Access, correction, and deletion. You may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Some records must be retained under tax law and professional standards, and we will tell you when that applies.
To make a request, contact us using the details in Contact us. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
10. Children's privacy
This website and our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Third-party links
Our site may link to third-party sites, such as mapping services or government resources. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites. Review their policies before providing information.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as our practices, services, or legal obligations change. The effective date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Material changes to how we handle mobile information or text messaging will be reflected here before they take effect.
